Environmental Responsibility

At Waves & Wild Water, we are passionate about our wild swimming and sea dipping adventures, and are striving to do everything in our power to preserve the oceans and waterways. We are very aware of the impact the fashion and apparel industry is having on the world, and have joined the movement to demand complete transparency from manufacturers regarding who stitched the clothing, who dyed the fabric and who farmed the cotton etc. By doing this, the fashion industry becomes accountable and sustainable - Absolute transparency is the first step in transforming the industry. 

Waves & Wild Water are based in the UK and we only work with likeminded companies - all of which understand that operating responsibly by treating their employees with respect and dignity, providing safe and ethical work environments, and continuously finding new ways to reduce negative and far-reaching impact - is critical.

We use ethically and sustainably sourced apparel, which is either constructed from organic cotton or recycled polyester. Our printing inks are Soil Association approved water-based inks and are chemical free. We never use heat applied vinyl or plastic, or plastic based inks. Waves & Wild Water are helping to keep plastic waste and chemical pollution out of the sea.
